We want to help students gain the skills needed to work through the challenges facing them in the world today. The goal of counseling in a school setting is to provide support and instruction relating to the immediate needs of a child.
It is not therapy and should not be considered as long-term therapy. Sessions are brief (usually 15-30 minutes) and only held weekly or less depending on need and permission from parents.
If you would like your student to receive counseling services, please complete, sign and return this form to school. This form must be signed for your student to receive services.
