Arrange with your counselor to make-up your U’s through the following methods: 6 hours of prearranged work for a staff member or other community agency or pay $30 per U.
Athletes and students in other school groups can not participate with a “U” and will therefore need to make up their "U."
Four-year planning document with graduation requirements. This will help you plan out a student's 4 years of high school.
School counseling is not therapy. A meeting with a student is brief (usually 15-30 minutes) so that students are able to return to class. Generally, school counselors refer students to outside resources if therapy would be helpful.
The following form is available, however, if the counselor meets consistently with your student.
This form helps to track homework and behavior.
1. The student is responsible to give this sheet to the teacher and to write down the assignment.
2. The student will take the form home at the end of the day.
3. The parent will review the information.
4. The student is responsible to complete any make-up work when absent.
If you have a student who needs to take medication while they are at school please print off the appropriate form and fill it out. Bring it in to the Counseling Secretary, Tori Haderlie, with the medicine in the original container and we will get things setup for you and your student.
Please call 435-734-4884 if you have questions.
